Brazil Revival Campaign 2024
September 2024 took our ministry to São Paulo, Brazil—one of the largest cities in the world and a strategic hub for the Gospel in South America. What unfolded over those two weeks exceeded all expectations.
The Brazilian Passion
Brazil has a unique spiritual hunger. The Brazilian people approach faith with passion and expectancy that creates an atmosphere ripe for miracles. Pastor Carlos Oliveira, our host, had been preparing his network of churches for months.
“Brazilians believe in the supernatural,” Pastor Carlos explained. “We just need to show them that Jesus is the source of all true power. When they see His miracles, they respond wholeheartedly.”
Week One: Igniting Faith
The campaign began in a large auditorium in central São Paulo, with services translated into Portuguese. From the first night, the atmosphere was electric.
Opening Night Miracle
Before the teaching even began, a woman named Adriana rushed to the front, tears streaming down her face. She had entered the building on crutches due to severe arthritis in her knees. During worship, she felt heat in her legs and realized she could walk without support.
This spontaneous healing set the tone for everything that followed. Faith was immediately high, and the expectation for miracles was palpable.
Teaching Focus
Our morning sessions focused on foundational teaching:
- Understanding God’s will for healing
- The authority given to believers
- How to receive and release healing
- Maintaining your healing
Over 300 pastors and church leaders attended these sessions, eager to learn how to implement healing ministry in their own churches.
Week Two: Revival Breaks Out
By the second week, the campaign had become front-page news in Christian media across Brazil. People traveled from neighboring states—and even from Argentina and Paraguay—to attend.
The Turning Point
Thursday of the second week marked a turning point. During the service, a man who had been paralyzed from the waist down for eight years began to feel sensation in his legs. Within minutes, with the help of ushers, he took his first steps.
The entire auditorium erupted in praise. For the next two hours, healings occurred continuously as faith reached unprecedented levels.
Documented Healings
The medical verification team documented healings including:
- 3 cases of cancer showing no evidence of disease on follow-up scans
- 7 people with mobility impairments walking
- 12 instances of verified hearing restoration
- Numerous cases of chronic conditions resolved
- Mental health breakthroughs including depression and anxiety
Community Impact
Beyond the evening services, our team partnered with local churches for community outreach:
- Favela Ministry - Teams visited underserved communities, bringing food, prayer, and hope
- Hospital Visits - With permission, we prayed for patients in local hospitals
- Youth Rallies - Afternoon events specifically for young people drew thousands
