Philippines Healing Crusade 2024
Our March 2024 mission to the Philippines marked a significant expansion of the ministry’s reach into Southeast Asia. Across two weeks in Manila and Cebu, we witnessed extraordinary demonstrations of God’s healing power.
Divine Appointment
The invitation came through Pastor Roberto Cruz, whose church in Manila had been experiencing a renewed hunger for the supernatural. After watching recordings of our UK healing services, he felt compelled to invite us to the Philippines.
“The Filipino people have great faith,” Pastor Roberto explained. “They just need to see that God still heals today. Once they see it, they believe immediately.”
Manila: Week One
We began in Manila, the bustling capital city of over 13 million people. The first service was held in a church that seated 2,000—and it was packed to overflowing within an hour of doors opening.
A Remarkable Start
The very first evening set the tone for the entire trip. During worship, before any teaching or prayer, a woman in the back of the room stood up screaming—her deaf ears had opened spontaneously as the presence of God filled the room.
This unexpected miracle electrified the crowd. Faith levels soared, and when we began to pray for the sick, healing after healing occurred.
Week One Highlights:
- Elena Reyes - Healed of stage 3 breast cancer (later confirmed by medical scans)
- Marco Gonzales - Wheelchair-bound for 6 years, walked out of the service carrying his wheelchair
- Lucia Fernandez - 30-year migraine condition instantly healed
- Dozens of healings from diabetes, arthritis, chronic pain, and various other conditions
Cebu: Week Two
The second week took us to Cebu, the Philippines’ second-largest metropolitan area. News of the Manila healings had already spread, and people traveled from across the Visayas region to attend.
Stadium Event
The final night was held in a large outdoor venue that accommodated over 5,000 people. Despite tropical rain threatening to cancel the event, the crowd remained—and the rain stopped precisely as the service began.
That final night alone saw:
- 89 documented healings
- 187 decisions for salvation
- Countless rededications and renewals
The Power of Testimony
One unique aspect of the Philippines crusade was the emphasis on testimony. Each service included 15-20 minutes of fresh testimonies from the previous night’s healings. This built faith exponentially.
“When I saw my neighbor healed of diabetes, I knew God could heal my heart condition. I came forward the next night and received my miracle.” — Teresa Garcia, Manila
Training and Equipping
Beyond the evening crusades, we conducted daytime training sessions for local pastors and ministry workers. Over 200 church leaders received training in:
- Biblical foundations for healing
- Practical ministry techniques
- Building faith for the miraculous
- Sustaining healing ministry long-term
Lasting Fruit
Six months after the crusade, we received reports of sustained impact:
- Partner churches report healing becoming “normal” in regular services
- A network of trained healing ministers now operates across both cities
- Several new churches have been planted by crusade converts
- Monthly healing rallies continue in both Manila and Cebu
Cultural Bridge-Building
The Philippines mission also demonstrated the universal nature of God’s healing power. The same Gospel that brings healing in the UK brings healing in Southeast Asia. Cultural differences fade when God’s power is present.
“What touched me most was seeing Filipino believers realize that the healing they read about in the Bible is for them today,” shared team member Maria Santos. “That revelation changes everything.”
Future Plans
The success of this mission has opened doors throughout Southeast Asia. We have invitations from Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand for future crusades. The harvest is plentiful—we simply need laborers.
To God be all the glory for what He did in the Philippines!
