The Devastating Diagnosis
In January 2024, Jennifer, a 45-year-old mother of three, received the news every person dreads. What she thought was simple fatigue and swollen lymph nodes turned out to be stage 4 non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
“The oncologist was blunt,” Jennifer recalls. “He said the cancer had spread too far for surgery to be an option. Chemotherapy might buy me some time, but he wanted me to ‘get my affairs in order.’ Those words echoed in my mind for days.”
